1.  Entry level:   Hydrogeologist

HydroSystems, Inc. (HSI) has openings for entry-, mid-, and senior level-hydrogeologists.  As a full service firm, HSI offers variety in projects, office and field applications and a strong team environment.  Each Team Member plays an integral part in project innovation, management, execution, documentation, and/or support.  HSI promotes a learning environment at all levels and encourages and supports continuous improvement of technical and professional skills.  Project focus is primarily Arizona and the Southwestern US resulting in limited travel requirements.  HSI is an equal-opportunity employer with excellent medical, dental, insurance, vacation, bonus, retirement and education benefits.  Salary is dependent on education and experience.

· 2+ years post secondary education in hydrology or geology.

· Field applications to include technical support in drilling and well installations, soil and water sampling, equipment installation and measurements, data retrieval, and various support activities.

· Office applications to include support in data searches, agency compliance, data updates, equipment maintenance, report writing, data presentation and various support activities.

· Team applications to include support in marketing, budgeting, internal controls, mentoring, team building, and support to Project Managers in their areas of expertise such as recharge, permitting, hydrogeology, geology, and computer modeling.

· Additional software skills such as AutoCAD, MODFLOW, Well CAD are a plus.

2.  Mid-level:   Hydrogeologist and/or Geochemical Analyst 

· Bachelors degree in hydrology, geology, or geochemistry (MS preferred)

· 3-5 years experience

· Field applications to include oversight of drilling and well installation, water quality and lithologic sampling, test and equipment protocol, groundwater monitoring, well rehabilitation and field documentation.

· Office applications to include interface with analytical labs, data searches, review and analysis, geochemical modeling, permitting, agency compliance, and report writing.

· Team applications to include support in marketing, budgeting, project scope development, internal controls, mentoring, team building, and support to Project Managers in their areas of expertise such as recharge, permitting, hydrogeology, geology, and computer modeling.

· Additional software skills such as AutoCAD, GIS, MODFLOW, Well CAD, PHREEQC, EQ3/6 or other geochemical modeling software are a plus.

3.  Mid- or  Senior-level:  Water Resources Analyst

· Bachelors degree in hydrology, geology, or environmental science

· 5+ years experience

· Field applications may include oversight of drilling and well installation, water and lithologic sampling, test and equipment protocol, groundwater monitoring and field documentation.

· Office applications to include water resource permitting including Underground Water Storage permits, Aquifer Protection Permit Assistance, Assured and Adequate Water Supply studies, report writing, agency compliance, water rights analysis, coordination of small to medium-sized projects and interface with clients and agencies.

· Team applications to include support in marketing, budgeting, project scope development, internal controls, mentoring, team building, and support to Project Managers in their areas of expertise such as recharge, hydrogeology, geology, and computer modeling.

· Additional software skills such as GIS and AutoCAD are a plus.

4.  Entry- or  Mid-Level:  Hydrogeologist – Groundwater Modeler

· Bachelors degree in hydrology, geology, or related field (MS preferred)

· 0 to 5 years experience

· Computer skills: ESRI software (ArcInfo, ArcEditor or ArcMap) and associated extension (Spatial Analyst, Geostatistical Analyst, or 3D Analyst), MODFLOW and associated pre and post processors (Groundwater Modeling Systems (GMS), Visual Modflow or Groundwater Vistas), THWells

· Field applications may include oversight of drilling and well installation, water and lithologic sampling, test and equipment protocol, groundwater monitoring and field documentation.

· Office applications to include numerical and analytical groundwater flow modeling, analysis of hydrologic testing results, spatial analysis and mapping of hydrogeologic data using GIS tools, conducting impact analyses in support of permitting activities, report writing, and interface with clients and regulatory agencies.

· Team applications to include support in marketing, budgeting, project scope development, internal controls, mentoring, team   building, and support to Project Managers in their areas of expertise such as recharge, permitting, hydrogeology, and geology.

· Additional skills in variably saturated flow modeling and geophysical applications to groundwater flow are a plus.
